"Villa C" is an exteriors and interiors renovation project of an old farmhouse in the Province of Trento.
A dynamic facade's layout is characterized by concrete arched frames that contrast with the rural "look & feel" of the villa, creating an unusual mix between traditional building materials and contemporary features.
This design concept is obviously visible in the entrance's staircase, where a clear-cut horizontal division between grey terrazzo's stairs and vertical wooden slats is.
A unique theatrical entrance faces a spacious and cozy welcoming room where a comfortable relax area holds a built-in arched fireplace in a curved wall covered with light grey terrazzo tiles. This material defines also the kitchen area through its layout on the floor, contrasting with kitchen's metallic materials, in particular with the essential brass kitchen peninsula that enrich the entire open space, becoming the main house "jewel".
A very spacious living room is surrounded by thick walnut window frames that offer an astonishing view on the mountains, bringing plenty of natural light into the cozy indoor environment characterized by different shades of natural wood.
High vaulted ceiling covered with birch panels works as a warm background, lifted up by a continuous led strip positioned above the rough lime perimetral walls.
