During DesignMarch 2025, the Polestar showroom transformed into a striking design laboratory where the visionary work of Tobia Zambotti converged with Polestar’s mission of sustainable innovation.

Zambotti, Interior Designer renowned also for his bold, contemporary, and environmentally driven concepts, presented four of his most iconic experimental statement piece: Coat-19 (with Aleksi Saastamoinen), The Fan Chair, Reel, and Sea Level Rise Chair. Each of these works embodies a radical rethinking of materials, waste, and the role of design in shaping a more sustainable world, values that align seamlessly with Polestar’s commitment to accelerating the shift toward cleaner mobility through cutting-edge design and technology.

 

Polestar challenges conventions in the automotive industry, pushing for a future that is electric, sustainable, and undeniably stylish. Similarly, Zambotti’s work redefines furniture design by repurposing unconventional materials, demonstrating that sustainability and aesthetics are not mutually exclusive but deeply intertwined.

 

By hosting this exhibition, Polestar affirms its belief that sustainability should not be an afterthought but a fundamental principle driving innovation. Zambotti’s designs, much like Polestar’s electric performance cars, push boundaries and provoke dialogue, proving that beauty, functionality, and sustainability can—and must—coexist.
