DB HOUSE
A warm and cozy attic characterized by bold lines
"DBhouse" is first of all the result of many constructive meetings with the client, our role as a designers was to listen his needs and to create the perfect environment for his lifestyle.
The new layout divides the areas based on the position of the terraces: the biggest one faces the kitchen area, the second one is linked with the living room and the third one is connected with the single room and the double room.
Four Velux windows have been installed on the roof to bring natural light into the guests bathroom, the laundry room, the single room and the living room.
The entrance is characterized by four vertical white pillars which work as a filter, in fact they let the visitors discover the space step by step. This system has been designed to incorporate the only one real structural pillar which is the closest to the kitchen. Beside this concept there's a function created by an horizontal metal pipe for hangers which runs inside the pillars.
The heart of DBhouse is the kitchen area which is enriched by a custom-made kitchen in natural dark oak and white corian made by Falegnameria Caldini Luca in Pietramurata (TN). The natural austrian bleached oak is the main material in the house, it creates a warm environment linked with the natural surroundings of Trentino Alto Adige. The two bathrooms, the one linked to the double room and the guest's one use the same tones of the open space in order to create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
